XCODE problems

i do not have the same format tables as shown in many tutorials what am i doing wrong ?

Most likely those tutorials are for older versions of Xcode.

Which version are you using now?

Im using the most up to date one i just downloaded it from Itunes last night

im guess the 7?? I really don't like it and i can't even do the same functions as most of the tutorials

Use the Xcode/About Xcode menu to check the version.

You may want to avoid Xcode 7 right now and use the latest release version 6.3.2

i will check it when i get home i heard there are a lot of problems with the new one crashing and some bugs they have to work out ... and if i do have that version what do you recommend ?

If by 'new one' you mean Xcode 7 beta 7A120f (please start stating version numbers, thanks), again, you may want to avoid Xcode 7 right now and use the latest release version 6.3.2.

If by 'new one' you mean 6.3.2, try a reinstall, after you make sure your HD isn't already full. Give yourself tens of GB free in that case, then go again.

As far as tutorials, stick with Apple's guides, etc. from the Dev Center instead of outdated tutorials off the 'net'.

Thanks for the info i will keep you posted and use the correct terminology from now on ...

6.32 is the version im using and i did an install of the program again and it seems to be doing the same thing. I have plenty of room on the HD 1TB and i seem to have the same problem do i need to pay the developer membership to have those functions ? just a thought ?

What tutorials and format tables do you mean?
