Apple Pay in Canada

I can not seem to get Apple Pay enabled on my iPhone 6.

let SupportedPaymentNetworks = [PKPaymentNetworkVisa, PKPaymentNetworkMasterCard, PKPaymentNetworkAmex]
applePayButton.hidden = !PKPaymentAuthorizationViewController.canMakePaymentsUsingNetworks(SupportedPaymentNetworks)

I'm in Canada and recently have added an RBC Visa to my Apple Wallet. I have checked with other apps that advertise ApplePay support such as Groupon and Starbucks and I do not see ApplePay enabled in them either.

Does anyone know if having added an RBC Visa is sufficient to enable Apple Pay for an app in Canada? I've used ApplePay successfully now for NFC based in-store transactions and I am just recently trying to get app support working for the first time.

I've tried running an app in debug mode and as an Ad Hoc distributed app as well. I believe I have verified correctly setup entitlements, certs and what not.

Thx, Sven

I think RCB is still waiting on a deal w/Apple they are happy with.

I have implemented Apple Pay on our websites and noticed that the Canadian postal codes are initially truncated when the payment sheet comes up. I cannot validate against these truncated values and update the tax properly.

What is the reason, security implication or otherwise that we cannot retrieve the full postal code that exists in the Apple Pay Wallet?

Hi JJ,
