iPad mini A1432 GPS signal poor?

I have almost completed my first app on iOS (dating app). It uses GPS / location services. I have a lot of apple products:


iPad Mini

iPhone 6

iPhone 6s

iPhone 4s

iPad Air 2


All work well but my app often fails to get the users location on the iPad Mini. It has never happened on the other devices.


Question:

Is the iPad Mini A1432 unreliable with location or do I have a potential bug?

Can you describe the fail? Doesn't connect? Connects and drops? Connects, drops, connects? Other apps unaffected?


Are you nslogging the connect to monitor success/fail?


What have you tried in an attempt to fix it on that device?
