What happens when there are multiples apps advertising simultaneously on a iOS device? The documentation doesn't say very clear 😟
From my own experiment, it seems that the behavior is sort of undefined. Sometimes I can scan the service my app broadcasts and sometimes I could only scan the services other apps broadcast.
The important line to get from the documentation is: Data advertising is done on a “best effort” basis
As a shared resource, advertising time and packets is divided between all the apps and services that use it - which may want to advertise at the same time.
Depending on the situation, it could be that your app is also being able to advertise but at a slower rate, which would make discovery by the scanning device more difficult.
It is also likely that the advertised services are moved to a special overflow area in the advertising, in which case only another Apple device can discover the advertising app.
So, as the documentation says, your app is advertising on a best effort basis and cannot be guaranteed to have the resources needed to advertise like a standalone peripheral at all times.
Unfortunately, there is no developer action available to effect this behavior.
