watchOS 3 beta install bricks watch with red exclamation

Back from WWDC, finally decided to try the watchOS beta as the iOS and tvOS 10 betas seem to be fairly stable. Unfortunately the install seems to have failed and the watch displays a red exclamation point and is basically bricked. Is there any solution or do I have to trek to the Apple Store? Are they going to be able to fix it?

Contacted Apple Support via chat on their website. The bad news is I have to send it in. The good news is - its free. It's my dev watch - but I hope this doesn't happen again, since I need it to run the beta on it in order to prepare for the new dock features.

Seems you have to send it in. Try calling AppleCare.
