While uploading an archive using Xcode 7.3.1, and a codebase that has been built and pushed to TestFlight over 150 times. Most recently last week when a build was submitted to Apple review for Beta Testing. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this?
I am getting ERROR ITMS-90534: "Invalid Toolchain." message while uploading an archive using Xcode 7.3.1, and a codebase that has been built and pushed to TestFlight over 150 times. Most recently last week when a build was submitted to Apple review for B
Which version macOS?
Could be a breakage in iTunes Connect. It was completely borked over the 6.4→7.x transition, giving some nonsense error but not allowing uploads of perfectly valid builds from 6.x versions of Xcode. But if it is an iTunes Connect upload bug, you'll never know!
➕ 1
I just pulled week old code from Github that has been submitted to Apple Beta Review and accepted, pushed to iTunes Connect and distributed to External testers.
I archived, exported, and began upload to iTunes... received the exact same error.
Really at a loss.
I completely reinstalled Xcode.
The archive uploaded without error.
Still at a loss. Same version of Xcode.
>The archive uploaded without error.
Sounds like it's working now...thanks for the update.
+1 here

Tools:
mac: 10.11.5 and 10.11.6
iOS target: 9.3
Xcode 7.3.1
Not using any betas.
Any lucky mattfromwesterville?
+1 here too. Just tried to upload a tiny change this morning to something that's successfully uploaded to TestFlight before. Xcode 7.3.1, OSX 10.11.5
So I just tried the same thing (delete Xcode and re-download) and now mine is finally uploading too. Worth noting that the build number for Xcode 7.3.1 that I just re-downloaded from Mac App Store is (7D1014) whereas I had (7D1012) before.
Good info - I believe 7D1012 was Xcode 7.3.1 GM...

Using 7.6.1 and OS X 10.11.6, 9.3 SDK - the same setup that's been working until today.
Archives upload ok, but then get an email from iTC.
Unable to submit to app store.
The same for me now. I just installed security update for macOS today - may be this is a reason? Anyway, can't publish to AppStore now because of this error. Xcode 7.3.1 and current release macOS
+1. Looking for anyone to post a fix/workaround. On:
Xcode 7.3.1 (7D1014)
OS X El Capitan 10.11.6
Dodgio's reply is workaround solution in this link https://forums.developer.apple.com/message/174833#174833
And... i can't understand why apple repeats these mistakes.
