I would like to install Lutron Caseta wireless light controllers in my new home. However, because of the size of the house and the number of devices I will need to have two or more Smart Bridge Pro 2 units. According to at least one forum:
Multiple Lutron Caseta Smart Bridges could be used in the same house, but there are some unfavorable situations if you do this:
1. You would need to have a separate email address for each one.
2. They won't talk to one another.
3. The app can only connect to one bridge at a time. To switch between systems with the app, you would need to log out of one system, and then log into the other system.
I have heard another forum suggest that using HomeKit and a third party app I could link many hubs, Lutron Smart Bridge Pro 2 or otherwise.
Has anyone done this, and if so, what, if any, were the complications? Were any particular third party apps useful?
