Taptic Engine seems to be dead on watch

Hi there, My (SS)  watch always seemed to have a Taptic which was a bit weak but didn't want to be a nuisance. Anyway, today I have nothing. Now, the issue is I'm now running 2.0 ... If I want to send it off for AppleCare help will it be refused for running this ? As it happens i just has to have iPhone 6 repaired - it cane back this morning due to a faulty screen. Great fast service and apparently competently done but if apple refused hardware service in a Dev programme device - and there's no way to downgrade how does that work? Many thanks for any advice!

Ok I see other people have had issues under 2 so I'll hold off... It's always been fainter than my friends even in 1 and 1.01 but this latest issues is clearly software related so ill wait for the final release before seeing what to do!.

My Taptic and sound are dead both!

Hard to receive notifications like this to the watch.

I also have the same issue in Watch OS 2. However mine worked fine under 1.0.1. Haptic Engine is dead in Watch OS 2.

Just try to restart your watch. It worked for me. After upgrading to watchOS 2 sound and taptic were dead. But ater restating the watch both worked again.

I've done this several times. It works for a bit, but then goes right back to no sound or taps.

Sometimes the the haptic turns off after taking the watch off your wrist. You just have to reboot it again after that. It's a bug and hopefully Apple will fix it with the next beta. But it's frustating when you develop an app that use sound and haptic.
