Where is the code folding area, that used to be on the left side in the strip where the breakpoints are? Is it still possible to fold code other than using the menu?
And by the way: is it possible to find the closing brace for the current block?

The code folding area must have got turned off in Preferences -> Text Editing.
To find the closing brace, you can double-click on the opening brace (to select the whole block), then press the right-arrow key to get to the closing brace. There may also be a configurable shortcut for it, if you look at the key bindings in Preferences.
