Your screenshots can't be uploaded because you have selected to use screenshots from either a larger display size or your app's primary localization.

Good info, thanks - this needs to be pushed to the top until Apple decides to mention it in their info, which is only theater meant to impress devs with a new process...

Thanx alot for the help. I have been trying so many ways to get rid of this error.

To reolve this issue i had to remove all my Localisations and delete of the old screenshots which i had uploaded for my existing version. Then uploaded new images for the 5.5 inch model and use that image in Image manager to generate new screenshots for all of my Localisations.

I'm having a similar problem uploading a new App preview video. It appears to upload fine but when I try to save it gives me the error message:

"Your app preview can't be uploaded because you have selected to use an app preview from a larger display size."

I have tried to delete the app preview from the previous version as is stated in this thread but again, when I try to save the change it gives me another error message: "You haven't made any changes."

Have any ideas?

Now I'm using fastlane upload App preview video, and I have the same problem. Did you solve this?
