Duplicate timer alerts

Since relatively early on in the watchOS 3 betas, I have been getting duplicate timer alerts. To reproduce it:


  1. Start a countdown timer for 1 minute (any other time works; regular alarms work too)
  2. Wait for the regular alarm to sound
  3. Click "Dismiss"
  4. Wait for around 30 seconds
  5. A new message pops up with the clock icon, the text "ALARMS", and a message saying "COUNT_DOWN_-TIME_REACHED".


I have been getting this since about the third beta of watchOS 3. Does anyone else get it? Is there some debug mode I can disable that causes this?

I'm still getting this with the watchOS 3 GM. Does anyone know if doing an "Erase Content and Settings" fixes this?

I unpaired my watch in preparation for my new iPhone 7. Re-paired on the new phone and went through the restore process. No more duplicate alert. Yay.
