I recently reinstalled Xcode on my mac, and after opening up a new project and selecting empty i was dismayed to fin that i was unable to build and/or run any of my code. Further investigation found that opening up old saved xcode project files stored on an old external hard drive opened fine and could be built and run. I also discovered that opening other types of project (mac os game, external project, etc) would produce schemes for the projects but not when empty project was selected.
Am I doing something wrong?
