Location Automation does not trigger

I have created automations based on time and other devices and they fire every time as they should.

I have tried creating location automations (when I arrive or leave home or some other address), but they never get triggered.

I'm using three Apple Tv 4s as hubs and I have the home app using location services on my iPhone iOS 10. As a test I created reminders for when I leave and arrive home and leave and arrive at work and i get notifications every time for those.

Is anyone else experiencing this or are you able to create a location automation and have it trigger?

I am using a single Apple TV 4 as a hub and have experienced similar issues. I eventually determined that location automations trigger when I leave home with both my iPad and my iPhone. If I leave either device in my home, the location automations do not trigger. I have attempted to disconnect location services from my iPad but the Home app constantly interprets that I am way from home and permanently triggers the "Leave Home" routine. I have yet to find a way to only associate location automations with a single device.

I have just the opposite problem. I have an iPhone SE, an AppleTV 4, and an iPad Pro all enabled as HomeKit hubs. And several Elgato and Hue devices/lamps. I have all of the devices added as accessories to the When I Leave Home automation in the Home app, all of them set to turn off when the automation triggers. This morning I notice that the automation is triggering even though all three hub devices are still here. I can use the Home app to turn them back on again, but the accessories are turning back off, all at the same time, at irregular time intervals. It's as if a ghost has control of the house. I have no idea where to start troubleshooting this problem. Are log files available somewhere that record triggers and corresponding actions?

I realize this forum is primarily intended for developer use, and while I developed software during most of my professional career, I'm retired now and no longer practice the craft. I'm also at a loss as to where to post consumer level questions like this, and would appreciate any guidance to a forum that would be more appropriate.

While it is probably offtopic on this developer forum, but thanks for the reply... I had similar pronlem and the solution is probably indeed that my iPad was at home...
