I've been using HomeKit on my Phillips Hue Hub to control bulbs made by different companies/brands such as Phillips and Cree. Wink claims that Apple won't approve their certification request because users can pair devices to the Wink Hub that are different brands. Why is it that Phillips had no issue with their multibrand Hub compared to Wink's?
Wink says that Apple won't certify them because they're a Multibrand Platform, is that a disqualifier?
How long/strong is Apple's relationship with one vs. the other?
