Battery on IPhone 6s drains after IOS 10

Hello, I have loved my IPhone 6s from the beginning. Never had a problem with it. But after the new IOS 10 update, my battery drains faster then usual. I would like to go back to the IOS 9, because this is not working for me. Other people may have other thoughts but I just want this to be fixed. How can I fix this problem? Thank you.

As iOS 10 is now public, user-centric queries/comments such as this are perhaps best put to Apple's public community support forums, where Apple tends to monitor user comments, and/or Apple's twitter support account, vs. risking off-topic here in the dev forums, thanks and good luck.

I am also facing the same issue issue. Is there any way to way to go back to IOS 9.

I've had my iPhone 6 since September 2014 and battery would last around 12-15 hours depending on calls i made or received, checking text messages and emails regularly throughout the day. I used to allow the phone to run down to less than 5% before charging, sometimes the phone would indicate 1% for nearly an hour before switching off.

Ever since iOS10, the battery charge indicator and phone behave irratically. Fully charged phone lasts 3-4 hours. Sometimes the phone dies, but when placed on charge the battery indicator shows charge higher than 1%, 20%, 50% even as high as 75%.

I am disappointed at the level of QA and QC of Apple products since Tim **** arrived as CEO.

In my experience as a repair technician, the erratic changes in battery status has been due to the consumer having used an aftermarket non MFi Cable. The poblem with the non MFi cables is that they don't have a compatible Apple chipset built into the cable. This can result in damaging components that regulate and track battery capacity and consumption.
