Hi Everyone,

I am new to all of this apple thing and wanted to know the minimum HW requirements in order to be able to run xCode11 (and future releases if possible)
Would Macbook 2015 Retina Core i5 with 8GB Ram and 128 GB SSD running Sierra (and please advise on upgrade-ability of OS to Mojave) be sufficient for developing iOS apps?

That mac can run Xcode, however, 8GB ram is not going to be your friend, and you will fill up 128GB very quickly, resulting in a system that will struggle to just breathe.

Unless you can upgrade both, say to at least 16GB ram a 1TB SSD, I would keep looking.

I have a 2016 MBP.
It runs Catalina and Xcode 11.5 without problem.

I have 16 GB RAM (8 would definitely not be enough) and 500 GB of disk. A bit short but that still works (it is a secondary development machine, when travelling).
I have an external 27" monitor.
