No combination of resetting the SMC, NVRAM, erase via iCloud (which seems to be the solution to Error -1008F) with keypresses of Option (with a working Catalina USB plugged in), Command-R, Command-CTL-R will get my MBP13 to boot the Catalina installer to downgrade from Big Sur.
It refuses to load the installer from USB, instead it downloads the network install and fails with -1008F. Am I missing something?
