Can we change the default search engine of Siri?

I'm living in china and the default search engine is Baidu. The results of Baidu is really bad and for privacy concern I have no intention to use it or send my questions to them.

Can we change it to Google or Being? I haven't found any option to achieve that. Also, I have set my default search engine of Safari to Google, but Siri still search my question by Baidu.

I have this exact problem and have no idea how to fix it. There are several issues with iOS in China, particularly regarding connectivity. It gives completely useless results. One workaround I’ve found is saying “Siri, search Google for XYZ”

If you are concerned about privacy, you should avoid Google and Bing as well. Try DuckDuckGo, Qwant, or Brave Search instead.

please oh please oh please fix this. I also live in China. BaiDu search is horrendous. it means that the Siri functionality is dead on delivery. I’ve had an iPhone in China for almost 10 years and I don’t think I’ve ever asked it a single question because you just get sent to a BaiDu page filled with nonsense for even the simplest thing. Apple, just let me use bing! it’s been years and you have left your biggest market without a core part of the ecosystem.
