Safari is too slow for WordPress site

Hi,
I'm developing a website in WordPress and the major work is done. All browsers, except Safari, need just 1 to 3 seconds to load the home page. Even Safari on iPhone and iPad need a very short time but not Safari on macOS which needs around 10 seconds.
I've tested with Google Chrome, FireFox, Vivaldi, Opera on macOS Catalina and High Sierra, Windows 10 Edge and Android. And I've tested this on different computers. It is always the same problem with Safari on macOS.
I've also done all recommended settings for Safari like disabling extensions, deleting Internet PlugIns, etc. And also creating a new user with clean installation of macOS. Nothing helps.

the majority of potential users of the website are Apple-users. So I can't launch the site until the problem is solved.

I hope someone has an idea, what the problem could be with Safari or maybe with WordPress or both.

Configurations:
  • MacBook Pro 16" 2019 with Catalina 10.15.6

  • MacBook Pro 13" 2017 with High Sierra

  • iMac 2011 with macOS High Sierra

  • Laptop with Windows 10

Have a nice day
Bahram
I am running into the same issue
Please provide a link to the site so that we can investigate.

Have you tried to use Web Inspector to see why the site is slow in Safari?
