Bluetooth SPP with MFi devices

Hi there


Our company plans to make an app on multiple platforms, including iOS. The aop needs to communicate with another device that is MFi certified. We actually planned to us Serial Port Profile on Android and all other platforms. Now I see that SPP is not supported for non MFi devices...but our external device is MFi certified, is there a chance to use Bluetooth SPP with this certified device and iOS?

It's possible, you would need to get the implementation and entitlement information for your app from the manufacturer of the MFi device.
