macOS Big Sur Public Beta crashes my MacBook Pro!

Hey everyone,

i had a really big problem with my MacBook Pro 2018 i5.

With the beginning of the beta version of Big Sur I downloaded this on my MacBook.
There was no problem, but yesterday it wasn’t starting up.
i tried so many things.
online recovery, cmd +r, SMC reset, usb stick with Catalina nothing works.

I see the apple logo and then it crashes and will new boot.
I called also with the support from apple, but they can’t help me at the moment. They said it is beta software and they can have bugs. I still wait of the final release.

sorry for my school English I’m from Germany 😅

thanks for everyone who helps me!
I had what _might be the same issue - it gets part of the way through the startup process, then reboots.

I found that restarting into Startup Manager - holding down the option key during restart - gave me the option to click on my hard drive (usually named MacintoshHD) instead of the install volume. My Mac then started normally, although the OS was still the previous one.

I don't know if this will help for you, but it might be worth a try.
I am having the same problem after the newest Big Sur update yesterday. I would login and within less than a minute, my screen froze and my MacBook Pro shut down and tried to restart. It just kept doing the same thing over and over - restart, freeze, shut down, restart... Now I am trying to restore my macOS back to Catalina from my Time Machine but am not even getting to the login screen. I made a Genius Bar appointment for Saturday and will see what they can do to restore it back to before I upgraded to Big Sur. Will report back here in a few days!
