ios 13.6.1 battery drain n slow

Does it happen if you close all apps and launch just one ?

Have you checked what apps may run in background (like localization).
For a test, go to plane mode to turn off most networks and check if the problem persists.

I am using Iphone 11 Pro and same problem occurred for me after updating to 13.6.1. Battery 80% and in 10 min-30 min drained to 30%.

To mention:

• > no apps in the background.

• > no tabs open in Safari and closed in the background too.

After ios 13.6.1, battery drain is fast (AGAIN, Apple)...battery charge is SLOW. Even on a dock.

Only the iMessage app is running. I shut off most features of my phone, because of constant battery issues.

On the iPhone X S Max. Same issues here.

The battery health now show 90% from what was 100% before the update.
The battery drains so quickly through the day, despite similar usage patterns as before. Previously i could get through the day charging the phone just once, not anymore since the update.

Please fix this!!

Same issue here with my ipad, battery draining like anything after the update, am only running 1 app, no app running in background.

Im having the same issues, phone is very very slow like its running in 1%. Apps with black backgrounds and phone is shutting down back and forth. Do anyone knows how to fix this problem??

iPhone SE battery drain wise, I'm having the same issue. Where I could previously go an entire day (including overnight) on one charge, now I can't get more than a couple of hours of battery life. Figuring the problem was a bad app, I uninstalled all apps from my iPhone and did a reset (Settings -> General -> Reset). Running the reset iPhone with no new apps installed, and the battery drain issue still persists. Even if I put the iPhone in airplane mode, the battery still drains in a couple of hours. I love my iPhone but this SUDDEN problem -- after an iOS update is making me reconsider alternatives to Apple products...

Same issue since updating to 13.6.1. Fast battery drain on iPhone 8, SE, XS, and iPad Pro 10.5. Also seeing random crashes and black screens on iPad Pro 10.5, often when simply opening the lock screen without running any apps.

Does any of the advices here help solve the problem ?

Even though this video is not clear on tests conditions, it provide comparison information between iPhones and between various OS version. Slight degradation in 13.6.1, but not at the levels reported in the posts.

I’m using a IPhone 11, I’ve had it for 2 months and the drain when I updated to 13.6.1 was insane! On 13.6 I was ending the day with around 45-40% now I’m ending the day with 29%, we need ios14 and we need it fast.

I just spent all day on the phone with AppleSupport going through the recommended steps posted on a couple of articles I found.... down to restoring my phone completely from icloud backup (they went through diagnostics not a problem with the phone or battery). Nothing helped, battery is still draining. Probably not worth taking all these time consuming steps. Seems like a update is needed to fix this problem.

Since the IOS 13.6 has been updated I’ve been facing issues with the brightness sensor, phone lags and battery drains. Plus, today it stopped charging at 40% and won’t connect to the charger anymore!!!! What am I supposed to do now after it shuts down?

I have iPhone XR, after iOS13.6.1 update my battery drain very fast. It dropped 25% after one phone call. I recharged my phone every 2 to 3 days before the upgrade, now I have to recharge it everyday although I rarely use it. My iPad Air is worse, I had 100% in the morning, two hours later it dropped 30% without using it. I closed all my apps after each used so there is no apps running in back ground. Can you please fix it?

Same here. I used to go most of the day, now i’m lucky if i get three hours. Battery has gone from 17 to 13% just in the time it’s taken to log in and type this message

My iphone x was starting to slow down all of a sudden like, so i updated to 13.6.1 and my problems are tenfold worse!!! dont matter if its on the original lightning cable and charger or my wireless qi charger or if i have “low power mode” on or off, and Im madasallhell about it too!!! Doesnt apple have priors for f’ing with batteries to get people to get new iphones??? Anybody remember that from a few years back..... and mine was purchased new when the x came out a few years ago and isnt the new one coming out.....wait for it.....this month!!!! Now my Iphone never gave me any troubles until the past 3 or 4 weeks now and i was patiently waiting for the newest biggest baddest iphone 12 to be released this month.... now it drains the battery like greased lightning and takes forever to charge if im lucky enough to get it to charge!!!! Sometimes i will put it on the charger and come back a few hours later and it hasnt charged any, none, nada, zilch, NOTHING!!! Even on airplane mode or completely shut off........Or if it does, it takes forever and a day and will stop at 80% even though ive turned off the optimized battery charging thingamajig!!! How is it going to learn my schedule??? Im a f’ing truck driver... i have no schedule and after all these years if i havent figured that out then apple isnt going to either!!!! Complete ********.... when i first updated i read online right after that their were reports of “some Users were experiencing battery and charging issues” i betcha then-n-there that it was all of us that are waaaay beyond the normal timeline of getting a new iphone!!! It cannot be an issue with anything but the update and apple!!!!my iphone never used to piss me off so much id see red....... and ive been a loyal apple customer ever since the iphone 3 first came out!!!! Just fix it please
