I updated my iphone xr and the settings menu is lagging if i try to open screentime takes about 15 seconds to open.

iOS 14, iphone 11 have exact same issue.
ios 14.0.1 with iPhone 11 Pro and I still have same problem you describe. Anyone with a fix? Has anyone at Apple acknowledged this and that they are working on it?

Same problem- takes me 10 min to access my kids screen time menu, if it opens at all. Anything I alter takes several minutes. It’s extremely frustrating.
Same issue Iphone 8. Its not a storage issue. I have the 256gb model and barely half is used. I have a solution. I'm buying a Samsung. Have fun Apple with your $1400 garbage phones.
The update to 13 disabled my cell service. I had to reset all my settings to get the phone to work again. Wide known Verizon issue,
Now the update to 14 and the text app menu and most others show a black screen for a solid 30 seconds to a minute to open. All this despite the phone having better hardware than my laptop (which does not do this) and being 1/20 the size. Of course this was not an issue until update 14.
I shouldn't have to debug your garbage. I paid at the door.
I find it very interesting the phone worked great until the contract ran out and it was paid for. 2 years not a single problem. Anyone else?
