Apple Business Manager

It appears on our Apple Business Manager MDM portal that "Device Assignment" is no longer available and we are only given the option of "Devices", with an option to only search for existing devices on our DEP. We do not have the option for manual device enrolment.

How can the option for "Device Assignment" be restored?

Any help much appreciated!

As far as manual device enrollment goes, this is done with Apple Configurator 2 and the devices will appear in Apple Business Manager under “Devices added by Apple Configurator 2”: https://support.apple.com/guide/apple-business-manager/assign-devices-added-from-apple-configurator-apd200a54d59/web
