Recently, i use instruments(v 12.0.1) counters tool to trace PMCs on iphone12pro(ios14.1), it result in no output, who can help me fix it? thank you,
Instruments counters can not work well on ios14.1
Hi,
It mostly depends on how you configured the Counters Instruments.
If you’re sampling by “Time”, you might have encounter a warning saying that ‘The data volume is too high for a recoding mode of "Immediate" and some data had to be dropped to move forward’ in the Run Issues. This is fixed in upcoming versions, but the resolution for this now is that you switch the recording mode to ‘Deferred’ or ‘Windowed’ depending on your needs.
If you’re sampling by “Events”, it won’t work on the version you’re running on. We fixed this issue in an upcoming version.
If the previously mentioned issues doesn’t seem to fit your, please feel free to follow-up here with more information like :
Thanks,
Paul

Hi!
Unfortunately, I'm afraid you won't be able to export to any of those formats...
Thanks,
Paul
