iPhone 12 max pro search lag?

When I search in any of my apps like Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc., on my new iPhone 12 max pro there is a definite lag when searching for items compared to when I use my iPhone 8 plus. Not sure what the lag is about but I hope they fix it soon! Bummed that something so expensive is not working correctly.

I have the same issue! Just bought my ihpone 12 pro max yesterday (switched from XS Max) and it's so horrible ! the photos are lagging, the videos are lagging, my games that worked perfectly fine on XS max are lagging, search tab is lagging, the phone is overheating, even the amazon app when I'm browsing things is lagging, what the hell? I was so excited to have it and it's trash, literally and I'm not exaggerrating! I don't even want to use it , I feel like it's the device from 10 years ago when we had to wait for anything on the screen to happen, fix it!
