I downloaded the Big Sur public beta and ever since then whenever I run Zoom my laptop grinds to a halt. The fan on my laptop runs full blast and I can barely even open, nor navigate, between windows.

Ditto Drew21211. Zoom is really slowing down cursor movement. Reminding me of my Windows :(
Hey, I just found a workaround to it. If you switch off your video in Zoom, it works just fine. I think there is some additional bandwidth due used by video upload that is causing the whole system to slowdown. Tried it 20 times to verify.
