Does Apple's M1 Chip fully support ARMv8.5 Memory Tagging Extensions?

On the ARM architecture Wikipedia page it is stated that Apple's M1 chip is on ARM version 8.6, so I was wondering if it is fully supporting all the ARM version 8.5 features, such as the ARMv8.5 Memory Tagging Extensions (MTE)?

If so, would it, like pointer authentication, require any special configuration to enable this feature, or is it supposed to work out of the box?
