I have a problem with Big Sur crashing when I try to add peripherals via hubs to my MacBook Pro (April, 2020).
In particular, when I try to add an Apple Superdrive USB via a Lention C13 hub or C37 HACR-1M (both recommended by Apple Support).
I get a lack of power message, and then the crash after a couple of tries.
The Thuderbolt 3 ports are handling external monitors well, so I don't think it's the ports. When I try the Superdrive I unplug the external monitors to conserve on power.
Any suggestions?
