Video Lagging After Big Sur Update

Hi there! Could someone please tell what should I do in order to solve the video lagging issue?

I have a MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) with the following specs:

  • 2.3Ghz 8-Core Intel i9

  • 32Gb 2667 MHz DDR4

  • AMD Radeon Pro 5500M + Intel UHD Graphics 630

  • 1TB SSD

After the update to Big Sur, the laptop started to have huge lags when watching a video, plus, some of the basic apps (like Pages or Keynote) ar lagging also being almost impossible to use.

Is there something I can do to solve the issue? Anybody? Thanks!

Turn off automatic graphics switching under System Preferences > Battery.

I experience this lag in the built-in terminal.app where it takes sometimes as long as 5 seconds for the last character I've typed to show in the terminal window.
