iMessage App and Testflight not working

Hi,

I'm trying to download my iMesssage App Extension to download with Testflight for internal testing but it does NOT work.

I always get the error message : "You already have this app installed." and when I want to install it again it downloads the App but

the actual installation fails with: "Unable to Download App. ... could not be installed this time." and "Could not install ... , Your request couldn't be completed. Try again."

How can I uninstall the iMessage App - I don't see it in iMessages. And why is TestFlight not able to re-install the App. Besides that the error messages don't really give me a hint how to sovle this.

Any ideas?

This is what I send to my customer support emails about how to delete my app and I get thanks replies, so it seems to help people figure it out.

If you do want to delete the app, go into the iMessage app tray - which you get to in iMessage, by clicking the > next to the text field. Then hit the (A) icon for Apps. Then you should see <your app>. And if you hold your finger down on it, you should be able to delete it, just like normal apps on the home screen.

Hi,

the problem is I don't know how to delete the Message App because I cannot find it and because it is already "installed" according to test flight a re-installation fails for unknown reasons. :-(

thank you!

The problem initially was that the iMessage App icon wasn't there anymore - so I installed the app again using the developer profile and then explicitly deleted it again - then installed it again from TestFlight and now it works.
