The front camera can obtain depth data through AVCaptureDeviceTypeBuiltInTrueDepthCamera.
The rear camera can obtain depth data through AVCaptureDeviceTypeBuiltInDualCamera.
Can the rear camera get depth data from lidar?

Yes, you must use the sceneDepth api.

I recommend that you file an enhancement request using Feedback Assistant if you would like a LiDAR Scanner based depth api outside of ARKit.
