Is there a simple means of collecting decibel levels when my app user begins a timer?

I simply want to register the moment (time) the decibel level of the wearer reaches 140+dB.

I think more adequately phrased would be, which kit can I use to fetch current dB level? Would this fall under Audio Toolbox, Audio Unit, AVFAudio, AVFoundation, AVKit, CareKit, Core Audio, Core Audio Kit, HealthKit, SensorKit, or Sound Analysis?
