We have used Apple's installer for years. All of a sudden under the latest OSXes it will no longer overwrite Older versions of our Apps and supporting utilities. We use the latest version of Packages to build the installer and then get it notarized. Does anybody have an idea as to what the problem may be? Currently the only way to get the installer to work and install the latest versions of our product is to have the customer delete the files first and then run the installer.
The software is installed into a directory in /Applications.
