I just got back into coding using Xcode after doing other coding using jetbrains IDE's. If I have an error in my code that Xcode has flagged and I corrent it, it take 10 20 seconds for Xcode to remove the flag. Does the checker run at long interals? When I have an error in one of my Jetbrains IDE's, it gets unflagged immediately. I'm not doing any manual saves. Could that be the problem. This is with the latest version of Xcode on the latest iMac (no so late anymore).
xcode slow on checking for errors.
Did you find any solution?
Same problem on my side. I used Rider to develop a xamarin app. I remember being unhappy of xCode that had no refactoring, was slow, crashing often. I came back today, to see that Apple actually did no work whatsoever on xCode. Still very slow and buggy, still lacks the most basic feature any free IDE has. For me, Xcode is closer to a TextEdit than an actual IDE.
I will give a try to AppCode. Though 5 years ago, it was rather limited, but it might have evolved contrarily to Xcode.
