Hi,
I've been out of the loop the past few months as to Xcode but it seems I may be missing something obvious in 8.1 regarding provisioning profiles. Previously, I would open my preferences, goto accounts > Apple IDs > Agent profile > View details, then 'Download All Profiles' to pull-down the latest provisioning profiles for my accounts.
Now, whilst it shows me all the available profiles, it doesn't seem to download any which have the 'download' button displayed next to them. Clicking the 'download' button or 'Download All Profiles' simply greys out the button. No further information is provided by the interface.
Alternatively, when I open the Devices window and 'Show provisioning profiles' on 'My Mac', I see nothing at all. Apparently 'No Provisioning Profiles [are] Installed', even though I'm seeing quite a few profiles that don't display the 'download' button via the route described above indicating, I assume, that there are at least some installed.
One further clue is that the console displays:
> switching to keychain-db: /Users/<user>/Library/Keychains/login.keychain-db from /Users/<user>/Library/Keychains/login.keychain (0 1 1 1)
> not switching as we're not in ~/Library/Keychains/: /Library/Keychains/System.keychain (0)
Repeating seemingly ad-infinitum.
Is this a known issue? I know in the past having an expired profile somewhere could block the update process (again with no indication as to what's happened for the user) but I don't see anything like that occuring this time around.
I'll try installing the profiles manually in the mean-time but it would be nice to know if this is a known issue or if some kind of workaround is available.
