I use Apple Silicon MacBook Pro (macOS 12 Beta) and installed tensorflow-metal.

It just worked on my poor model with GPU. straxFromIbr/cnn_cifar_test.py

Yes, with limitations and several thing still under development. Check https://developer.apple.com/metal/tensorflow-plugin/ and https://github.com/apple/tensorflow_macos
