Retrieve/Reset Certificate password

I am developing a ios app via Visual Studio without a physical MAC. I use Hot Restart to via my app on my IPAD. I guess Visual Studio use my apple developer account to create certificate / identifier / provisioning profile automatically.

When I submit my code to MS App Center, I was asked to upload profile and certificate + password.

I have googled for days and cannot find where I can retrieve/reset my certificate password.

Please help..

My best guess here is that they don’t want a certificate but rather a digital identity, that is, a certificate and its associated private key. Typically these come packaged in a .p12 file, which you can export from Keychain Access on the Mac. No idea how to do that on other platforms.

Still, that’s just a guess. This is far outside of my area of expertise and so I recommend that you escalate this via the support channel for the third-party tools and services that you’re using.

I’m sorry but I can’t help you with third-party services; you need to seek help from the service’s vendor.

Thanks for the helps. I finally find out what I did wrong. I am new on mac. I downloaded the certificate from apple developer site instead of exporting the certificate from the keychain program in mac device. This is why I have no password to give to MS App Center..
