Hello, it’s a Fintech company ‘KONA I’ located in Seoul, South Korea. We are developing several JavaCard applets executing on a SIM card. Now we would like to investigate the way of communication between an iOS application and a JavaCard applet. To be more precise, we need to send APDU commands to the applet from iOS app and receive response APDU to iOS app from the applet. I could not find any related APIs on the official documentation. Is there any iOS APIs for interacting with JavaCard applets?

However, just to set expectations, it’s 14 years since the first iPhone was released. During that time many folks have asked for an API like this and it hasn’t happened yet. While I’ve never seen an official explanation as to why, I recommend that you not hold your breath here.
