  1. What are the C++ Compilers suitable for Macbook Pro M1 Max?
  2. Is there a FORTRAN Compiler available for Macbook Pro M1 Max?
  3. If the above compilers are available, will those work with XCode and/or VSCode?

Hi, not sure about 2 and 4, but you should be able to use C++ compiler that is included with Xcode to develop C/C++ applications on macOS. In general, any compiler/software written for macOS should work on M1 Pro/Max, either running natively or through Rosetta 2.
