I have seen similar posts but I have the same issue M1 pro is not using GPU but when uninstalled TensorFlow-metal it worked perfectly without any issue but I felt it's too slow for the powerful chipset bi-lstm and lstm are extremely slow on this. I think M1 chips are not yet optimised for machine learning. I wish we get the bug fix asap
