Instruments Points of Interest view

I'm trying to use the new system trace instrument in instruments and I can record the session and see many things related to the points of interest. What I cannot see is in the timeline the view that is shown in the WWDC session that has Regions and Points listed in the left hand pane of the time line. Instead I only ever see Graph Count where I can see the start and end of the kdebug_signposts. This isn't however anywhere near as useful as the Regions and Points view.

I've searched for documentation and information on the forums and the only place this seems to be documented is in the WWDC session.

Can someone suggest what I may be doing wrong, or why I cannot see the Regions/Points view.

Oops I think this is under the wrong category not sure how to move it. For the record I am using Xcode 8.2 and iOS 10.2

I found the problem, one of the signposts I had, had multiple return paths and I wasn't tracking all of them, and when I set this up correctly I now see what I was expecting.
