rewind through EXT-X-DISCONTINUITY

I have recorded content in which there is an EXT-X-DISCONTINUITY flag (an error occurred while recording content), the time points of the beginning of the content look like this:

Start Time : 10005, dur 5s
EXT-X-DISCONTINUITY
Start Time : 100, dur 5s
Start Time : 105, dur 5s

I did not find in rfc8216 whether such content is valid at all, and should the player even rewind time through this flag without errors?
