HLS Steering Support

What is the first version of iOS and tvOS to support HLS Steering? Is the AppleTV+ service using HLS Steering to manage multiple CDNs?

HLS Steering was introduced at WWDC 2021, so it's available with iOS/tvOS 15 and above. I don't know if Apple TV+ uses it, but it's an internal detail that I couldn't comment on anyway.

Content steering should be available in Safari when playing HLS via the native video element.

If you're using an MSE-based HLS player you'll need to implement Content Steering yourself.
