Do I need to provide a license for using the code in the Developer Forum as is?

I want to use the code provided by eskimo in Developer Forum thread number 663768 in a project where the code will be published, do I need to provide a license? If so, what kind of license do I need to present?

I’m going to research this and I’ll update this thread when I know more.

It seems that this isn’t as simple as I thought )-: It may take a while to get an official answer to this.

Thanks to a concerted effort on the part of my manager, I now have that. Quoting Apple Legal:

Code posted to the Developer Forums by Apple employees is covered under the standard MIT software license, unless otherwise accompanied by a separate license, in which case the terms of that license will govern.

I’ve filed a bug to get this info into the Apple Developer Forums Agreement (r. 92659096).

*phew*
