Given that the new iPads have M1 chips, would it be possible to use the virtualization framework on the on an iPad/iPhone? Though it is not currently listed as a possibility in the documentation, is it possible to modify any configuration settings to make it work in a mobile environment? I would like to run a virtual machine on an iPad/iOS to run python applications.

Is there a plan for it to be supported sooner or later on iPadOS ? I had a fair share of VMs in the past on my previous workstation and given I migrated to an iPad as my new workstation since a year I'd absolutely love for it to be supported without having to resort to a macbook on the side or emulation.

We can’t discuss The Future™. If you’d like to see such support added, I encourage you to file an enhancement request describing your requirements.
