xcode 8 not supporting ios7.1?

Now xcode 8 has been updated automatically.
Now when I'm try to run my app on my iphone 4 with IOS 7.1.2 (Is the biggest version that this phone can support) Xcode says that this IOS is not supportted:

"This iPhone 4 is running iOS 7.1.2 (11D257), which may not be supported by this version of Xcode."


Then I don't understand, since now, can't be devoloped any app on ios 7.1? or is only on debug mode?

You can either fossilize your IDE at a lower level that still supports earlier iOSs, or you can elect to move your minimum support up, to say, 8.x, as an example.


We're at iOS10.x, so it's time, I think.
