How would I take a screen shot of a iPad 12.9 if I don't own one. I've tried Xcode and my ipa won't load.

That's not in the appStore. It is when you run your app in a simulator, if you type cmd-S, then you get a screenshot of the current view.
You will be able to load in the views of your app (for the appropriate screen size) in AppStoreConnect

What do you try exactly ? Did you archive your app and ask "upload for distribution" ?
Ok. I made my app in another program. It's just an ipa file.
