We are planning on building an app that will access the images stored on the phone and then do a background process on all the images. Once processing is done the user will be able to search for handwritten or machine printed text in the image collection.
Would like to know which category the app would fall under and if we are able to ...
- have access to all the images on the phone
- process these images in the background
- kickstart processing if new images have been added
Any help would be highly appreciated.
