Unable to add birthday in a contact

  1. Open an existing contact
  2. Click Edit —> Add Birthday
  3. Select Date and Save
  4. Close the contact app
  5. Come back to the same contact, the birthday is gone.

I tested on MacOS 11.6. It works. Are you sure you entered date in the correct format ?
